I read in other updates that came our way here in Suva that the Pacific CROP agencies had a side event that included USP, SPREP, SOPAC and SPC. I find that interesting that no-one going in the civil society knew that there a side event for the Pacific. This is the type of information that should have been shared earlier on in the year so that we could also use it as a rallying point in the process. I find this even more ironical as the idea of a side event for the Pacific actually came from the churches in the lead up to Copenhagen....<br /><br />We should build on this achievement and look towards having a pavillion for the Pacific region to showcase our issues and our concerns for South Africa next year...If we can organise side events, we should be able to upscale and have a pavillion for the Pacific region.fe'iloakitau Tevinoreply@blogger.com
